Christiansen Implement

 Christiansen Implement recently completed a new shop at their current location in American Falls.This $500,000 expansion project provides higher ceilings for the farm equipment which is serviced inside, has increased worker morale, and also houses a state of the art conference and training room complete with computer stations and audio visual equipment. Training for farmers who purchase equipment will take place in the beautiful new conference room. The business has experienced a very successful year, thanks to all of the purchases made by local farmers who know and trust their equipment. 

R&G Potato, American Falls ID

R&G Potato has locations in Idaho, New Mexico, and Arizona. They are one of the leading suppliers of potatoes for Frito Lay. Frito Lay uses the potatoes to manufacture potato chips. The Bodyshop has opened inside Snyd’s Glass on East Central Ave. in Aberdeen. The hours are 8-8:30 M, W, & F. Sat hours are 8-1. The Bodyshop provides weight lifting equipment and fitness and toning equipment for individual use. The equipment was purchased from GoFigure when the owner moved out of state. John Campbell opened Quality Meats located at 485 N. 3rd E. in Aberdeen. The business is open from 8-5 M-F and 8-1 on Saturday. John is a custom butcher, with 12 years of experience working for Albertsons. He will cut and custom wrap all types of animals such as elk, moose, beef, lamb, etc. He makes jerky, salami, and pepperoni. The shop also has fresh meats available for purchase. The business is a family owned and operated venture.

American Falls Downtown Visioning Workshop

The American Falls Downtown Visioning Workshop was held on August 4, 2011 at the American Falls District Library. Downtown business owners expressed their vision for the downtown through art. James Waddell and Kristen Jensen coordinated the visioning. The workshop was held to enable local business owners, elected officials, and members of the Downtown Revitalization meeting to meet together to share their vision. A second visioning night will be held on October 20, 2011 at the American Falls Golf Course Club House from 7:00 p.m. until 9:00 p.m. The complete set of artist's renderings will be available to view, and participants can express their views about the vision for the downtown.
